At Lloyds Banking Group, we use Mobilityways dashboard and reporting tools on a daily basis. They're super helpful for us to understand our CO2 savings and reductions. We use the improve conversion facility for secure messaging and to ask our users to update their journeys on a regular basis. We can also use it to thank our colleagues for lift-sharing into the office.

Flexible & Sustainable Travel Options
Mobilityways has been working with Lloyds Banking Group since 2022 to help reduce single-occupancy car journeys and measure the reduction in CO₂ commuting emissions.
As part of this partnership, we provided tools that enable colleagues to identify others travelling along similar routes into the office and track the CO₂ savings achieved through shared journeys.
Lloyds Banking Group pledged in 2021 to maintain travel-related carbon emissions at 50% of their 2018/19 baseline, including business travel and commuting. Our solutions support this commitment alongside their wider sustainability objectives, which include achieving net zero across their own operations by 2030, encompassing energy, carbon, waste, water, and nature.
Lloyds Banking Group has installed green parking bays at their Bristol, Birmingham and Isle of Man sites reserved for Liftshare users. By using Mobilityways they have identified colleagues who are making an active switch to more sustainable commuting methods and personally thank them. Lloyds Banking Group has doubled the Liftshare trip authentications in the last 12 months due to support from the Mobilityways team, the data analysis and efforts of colleagues who Liftshare every day.
Recognising that not all colleagues have access to public transport or can walk or cycle, Liftshare offers an additional commuting option that aligns with Lloyds Banking Group’s sustainability goals.
The reason that I switched to using Liftshare is because when I moved to Bristol, there was so much green parking available right next to the office building, which is obviously super convenient. In terms of how much money I save, comfortably between £50-£60 a month. I use Liftshare quite a bit. I like to cycle to work as well, so there's quite a good balance there.
