Ric Pestano Senior Product Manager, Mobilityways Community Updates – Now Live
Community Updates replaces the old community alerts tool with a richer communications experience, including formatted text, featured images, audience targeting, scheduling controls, and live mobile previews before publishing.
Employees now receive more engaging updates across the Mobilityways App, push notifications and email, with a consistent rich content experience across every channel.
Trip Authentication v2 – Now Live
Version two of trip authentication makes Liftshare journey verification more reliable, particularly in low or no connectivity situations. Drivers get real-time feedback on GPS signal, through a dynamic display around the QR code. Passengers get clear guidance whether they are online or offline, and post-trip confirmation is now clear.

Trip authentication v2 is available now and can be enabled through your account manager.
Travel Surveys v2 – Coming Soon
One of the biggest developments this year is the complete rebuild of the Mobilityways Travel Survey platform.
The new version is being designed to support more robust commuter emissions reporting aligned with frameworks including GHG Protocol, SBTi, and ISO 14064, while also improving the survey experience for employees across mobile and desktop.
Phase one is nearing completion, with further detail shared during the webinar.
This is the level of granularity that GHG protocol and SBTi reporting requires.

Find Matches Improvements – Coming Soon
Several improvements to the Liftshare matching experience are currently in development, all aimed at helping employees find the most relevant carpool matches more easily.
Upcoming changes focus on improved filtering, clearer journey information, and a redesigned list view that surfaces key details such as routes, travel times and journey days at a glance. These enhancements are designed to reduce friction throughout the matching process while giving employees greater confidence in the matches they see.
The Roadmap Ahead
These updates are part of a broader focus on helping organisations measure, reduce and report commuter emissions more effectively, while improving the day-to-day experience for employees.
